Our Team

With so many therapists to choose from, what matters most is fit. Trust your instincts here — the relationship should feel honest, productive, and safe.

Good therapy can be uncomfortable at times, and that discomfort is often a sign real work is happening. When difficult emotions come up, in or between sessions, we want to hear about it. Bring it directly into the room, and we'll work through it together.

Arielle Hobbs PhD

Arielle is a couples therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and doctor of Sexology. She started Portsmouth Community Counseling to bring specialized, honest clinical work to the Seacoast community.

"I'm not interested in making you feel good in the room. I'm interested in creating the awareness that brings out the most relational, honest version of you."

Before this, she built Saint Augustine Counseling, a thriving group practice in Northeast Florida. She is excited to bring the same standard of care to the Seacoast.
